What that does and doesn't mean

It doesn't mean I'm being paid to recommend something. I only link things I've genuinely brought into my own home, or would want to — a texture, a scent, an object that made an ordinary moment feel a little softer. If something doesn't earn its place here, it doesn't make it into a post, commission or not.

It does mean that when you shop through a link on this site, you're helping keep The Soft Edit running — the time it takes to write, photograph, and put these edits together.
